The second edition of the EPC Show has been a success. For two days, the Spanish manufacturers of low, medium and high voltage electrical equipment have held some 50 meetings with the international key players of the prescription of electrical material, coming from countries that develop large projects such as Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The participating companies have assessed the quality of the meetings and new contacts, which may lead to new orders.

EPC Show, which has been carried out with the support of ICEX, took place on May 24 and 25 at the amec headquarters in Barcelona.

During the first day, and after the opening of the event by the president of amec amelec, Carlos Sánchez, the prescribing companies presented the macro-projects that they are promoting in Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which represent a great opportunity for Spanish companies. These are large construction companies and distributors of electrical equipment.

Specifically, from Saudi Arabia attended by Firas Shahade, Deputy Director and Purchasing Manager of Jaroudi Group; Ahmed Waleed, Director of Business Solutions at ORBITS ECOTECH ™️; and Syed Bilal Ahmad, Key Account Sales Manager of Alfanar Construction. While the UAE was attended by Wadiwala Siddique, CEO of Siddique Mustafa & Sons Group; Mukesh Kochar, Business Development Manager at Haris Al Afaq LLC; and Tarek Tawfik, Business Development Manager at UniBuild Holding.

This is the second edition of EPC SHow, an annual event that connects the main specifiers of markets with great potential with Spanish companies. As Maria Lluïsa Cusell Pijuan, head of amec amelec, explains, both Saudi Arabia and the UAE are countries that «appear in the international sectoral opportunity index that we prepare annually» and «with projects that amec amelec companies can undoubtedly bring great value.»
